Tallulah's Creative practice
As a seasoned global DJ, I've played to audiences worldwide at venues like Pacha, Heaven and Ministry of Sound, and festivals such as First Light, Victorious, Latitude, Maui Waui, Swingamajig, Spill Festival, Guilfest and many more, touring extensively and working with wide ranging partners, and collaborators.
Beyond live performances, I've organised local events featuring UK & international acts and talent, to bring community, creativity, and creative learning to my hometown.
My debut album, "Interstellar Swing," released in November 2020, secured £4900 through crowdfunding, showcasing community support of my musical endeavours, and the work gained recognition on platforms like Freshly Squeezed podcast, BBC Introducing Suffolk, it's placement on Parisien Bart & Baker's compilation album, and use on popular YouTube channels.
2021 saw collaborations with music artists DJ Mibor, Emma Clair, and MOIRA. 2024 brings new work and musical stylings, and new collaborations.
I champion DJing for creative expression and well-being, dedicating time to teaching DJing, especially women to empower and uplift, and to those facing mental health challenges. Projects with Point Blank, Suffolk Artlink, and my current work with Outloud Music CiC reflect this commitment.
As a music producer, my works featured on Sky TV and digital platforms, showcasing the diverse impact of creativity. Collaborating with "Lazy Daisy" on a global empowerment program highlighted the intersection between music and empowering experiences through music creation. The relationship between music and wellbeing continues to be an exciting part of my work.
My journey as a music practitioner and artist so far has embraced collaboration, community engagement, and inclusive education and I continue on a mission to the growth of the UK's vibrant arts and creative industries, playing a part in shaping the cultural landscape of the UK and beyond.
In the past two decades, I have:
Developed DJ courses for youth and adults with mental health and and learning challenges for Point Blank (London), Suffolk Artlink, and Outloud Music CiC
Created music for Bhangra Dance Workout, David Olton, Sky TV
Created and recorded music and voice for Jackie Kietz: I'm Expecting a Baby: Your step-by-step guide for antenatal & hypnobirthing preparation
Created a music suite and meditations for a birthing programme to empower thousands of women worldwide in their birthing experience (Silver Lake, part of "Lazy Daisy")
Performed at hundreds of commercial and private events including VW, Richard Branson, and Selfridges and many weddings and family parties.
Performances across four continents over two-decades for many cultural partners including nightclubs Pacha, Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound, Electro Swing Club (London, Chris Tofu/Continental Drifts), festivals Messina Jazz Festival (Sicily), Guilfest, First Light Festival (Lowestoft), Latitude Festival (Suffolk), Maui Waui Festival (Norfolk), Swingamajig Festival (Birmingham), galleries Two Temple Place, and Courthauld Gallery (London).
Presented on radio stations Unknown and WWFM, and more recently in livestream episodes for Freshly Squeezed Music, Electro Swing Thing, and charity livestreams during Covid Lockdowns

INTERSTELLAR SWING REVIEWS
A strong body of work.
Angelle Joseph, BBC Introducing Suffolk
What makes Tallulah’s music different is the warmth and accessibility she brings to the party. An inclusive, big hearted sound built around universal themes and, what we all need right now, good times!
Nick Hollywood, Freshly Squeezed Records
Interstellar Swing is an incredible record and one that we as a scene can stand behind and be proud of.
Tom Hyland, Electric Swing Circus & Ragtime Records
This is possibly one of the best debut releases I've heard in electro swing.
